Description

A festive and sweet White Christmas Marshmallow Rice Bubble Slice, combining melty marshmallows, crunchy rice bubbles, and a drizzle of white chocolate topped with colorful Christmas sprinkles and M&Ms. Perfect for holiday parties or a delightful treat any time during the festive season.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tray: Line a 17 x 27cm baking tray with baking paper and set aside to ensure the slice won’t stick and for easy removal later.
  2. Melt the Butter: Place the butter in a large saucepan over low heat and allow it to melt completely without browning.
  3. Add Marshmallows: Add the white marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring continuously until the marshmallows melt completely and blend smoothly with the butter.
  4. Flavor the Mixture: Stir in the vanilla essence to add aromatic flavor and then remove the saucepan from the heat to prevent burning.
  5. Combine with Rice Bubbles: Quickly add the rice bubbles to the melted marshmallow mixture, mixing thoroughly to coat all the cereal evenly before the mixture sets.
  6. Press into Tray: Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking tray, spreading it evenly to the edges and pressing down firmly with the back of a dessert spoon for a compact slice.
  7. Decorate and Chill: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the surface, then scatter Christmas sprinkles and M&Ms on top for a festive finish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to set firmly.
  8. Slice and Store: Once chilled, slice into 16 squares and store them in an airtight container to keep fresh.
