Description

These Sugar Cookie Truffles are a delightful no-bake treat that combines the flavors of sugar cookies and cream cheese, coated in vanilla-flavored melting wafers and festive sprinkles. Easy to make and perfect for holiday gatherings or sweet indulgences.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Sugar Cookie Truffles:

  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies (about 10-12 sugar cookies)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

Coating:

  • 1 bag (10 oz) vanilla flavored melting wafers
  • Red & green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cookie Truffle Mixture: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil. Crush sugar cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Combine cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
  2. Form Truffle Balls: Roll the mixture into 1 tablespoon-sized balls and place on the prepared sheet. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  3. Coat Truffles: Melt wafers according to package instructions. Dip each truffle into the melted wafers using a fork, then return to the sheet. Drizzle with more melted wafers and sprinkle with decorations.
  4. Chill and Serve: Freeze coated truffles for 5 minutes, then store in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
