Description

These Strawberry Shortcake Sugar Cookies are a delightful twist on classic sugar cookies, topped with a sweet glaze and strawberry shortcake crumbs for a burst of flavor in every bite.

For the Glaze & Topping:

  • 4 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • pink food colouring
  • 1 1/2 cups Strawberry Shortcake Crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy and light yellow. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: Sift in flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape and bake cookies: Portion dough, flatten into balls, place on baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
