Shrimp:

  • 1 pound extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning, divided

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups white wine
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed (1 lemon)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

Optional Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the Shrimp: Season both sides of the shrimp with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Deglaze the pan with white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in butter and remaining Old Bay Seasoning. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and combine with the sauce. Season to taste. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.
