Description

This Lazy Day Creamy Chicken & Rice Dinner Casserole is the perfect comforting meal for a hectic day. Creamy, flavorful, and easy to make, this casserole is a family favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute Rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can water (use one of the soup cans)
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish with butter.
  2. Mix rice and soups: In a bowl, combine rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water. Pour mixture into the baking dish.
  3. Add chicken: Place chicken breasts on top and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  4. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 1-1½ hours until chicken is cooked through.
