			Bacon:
- 5 slices bacon
 
Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
 - 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar
 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack, divided
 - 2 jalapeños, minced
 - 1 tsp. garlic powder
 - Kosher salt
 - Freshly ground black pepper
 
Bagels:
- 3 bagels, halved
 - 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced, for garnish
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350º. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop.
 - Prepare cream cheese mixture: Combine cream cheese, white cheddar, 1/2 cup Monterey Jack, jalapeños, garlic powder, bacon, salt, and pepper.
 - Assemble and bake: Spread cream cheese mixture on bagel halves, top with Monterey Jack, bake until warmed through and cheese is melted. Garnish with jalapeño slices before serving.
