Description

These Instant Pot garlic noodles are quick, flavorful, and a perfect dish for busy weeknights. With a delicious garlic-infused sauce, these noodles are sure to become a family favorite!


Ingredients

For the Garlic Noodles:

  • 2 tablespoon Oil or Butter (I used avocado oil)
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 8 ounces Thin Spaghetti or Canton Noodles
  • 810 cloves Garlic, finely diced or minced
  • 2 Scallion or Green onion, white and green parts separated, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce (use vegan if needed)
  • 1/21 tablespoon Red Chili Sauce (I used Sambal Oelek)
  • 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 cups Vegetable Broth or Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the Instant Pot: Set the Instant Pot to Saute mode. Add oil and toasted sesame oil. Saute garlic and white part of scallions until fragrant.
  2. Prepare the Noodles: Break spaghetti in half and place them in a zigzag pattern in the Instant Pot. Top with soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar.
  3. Cook the Noodles: Add broth, ensuring noodles are covered with liquid. Pressure cook for 5 minutes. Quick release pressure, stir, and let rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Finish and Serve: Adjust salt to taste. Garnish with green part of scallions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • You can customize the spice level by adjusting the amount of chili sauce used.
  • For a vegetarian version, ensure the oyster sauce is vegan-friendly.
