Instructions
- Prepare the Cupcake Tin: Line the cupcake tin with cupcake liners to ensure easy removal and clean presentation.
- Insert Marble: Place a marble in the center of the ‘top’ of each cupcake liner. This creates the heart shape during baking.
- Add Foil Supports: Fold small pieces of foil to fit snugly on both sides of each cupcake liner to hold the marble in place and shape the batter.
- Pour Batter: Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to add the cake batter into each prepared cupcake liner, filling appropriately around the marble and foil supports.
- Bake: Place the cupcake tin in a preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the cupcakes are set.
- Cool: Remove cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the pan for 20-25 minutes to set the shape fully.
- Remove and Reveal Shape: Carefully take the cupcakes out of the pan and remove the marble and foil; you will find heart-shaped cupcakes.
- Decorate: Frost the cupcakes as desired using your favorite frosting technique and add sprinkles or decorative piping as preferred.
