Description

This Ground Turkey Zucchini Skillet is a quick and flavorful one-pan meal that combines tender ground turkey with sautéed zucchini in a savory soy ginger sauce.


Ingredients

Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce

Skillet:

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 large zucchini (about 3/4 lb)
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 lb. ground turkey

Instructions

  1. Make the Sauce: Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, water, and chili garlic sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Sauté Veggies: Dice onion, slice zucchini. Sauté onion and zucchini until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. Cook Turkey: Brown ground turkey in the skillet.
  4. Combine: Add sautéed veggies back to skillet with turkey. Pour sauce over mixture. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat. Serve hot with optional garnishes and rice.
