Instructions
- Rinse the Rice
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This step removes excess starch and ensures the rice won’t be sticky after cooking. - Prepare the Rice Cooker
Place the rinsed rice in the rice cooker. - Add Liquids
Pour the canned coconut milk and broth over the rice in the rice cooker. The combination of these two liquids adds creaminess and depth of flavor. - Season the Rice
Sprinkle the salt, turmeric powder, and garlic powder evenly over the rice. These seasonings will provide the signature earthy and aromatic flavors. - Add Bay Leaves
Place the bay leaves on top of the rice for an aromatic layer of flavor. - Drizzle Olive Oil
