			For the Tortillas and Faces
- 4 tortillas (flour, whole wheat, or any preferred type)

For Cheese Quesadilla Filling
- Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend), about 1 cup

For Sweet Pumpkin Quesadilla Filling
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
 - 1–2 teaspoons honey
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
- Cut Jack-o’-Lantern Faces: Using one tortilla per quesadilla, carefully cut out jack-o’-lantern facial features. Remove the cut-out pieces and set aside. These tortillas will become the decorative top layers.
 - Prepare Fillings: On the remaining tortillas, spread your chosen filling. For a savory option, evenly sprinkle shredded cheese. For a sweet variation, mix pumpkin purée with honey and ground cinnamon, then spread.
 - Toast Face Tortillas: Heat a pan over medium heat and place a jack-o’-lantern face tortilla in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until warmed and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
 - Cook Filled Tortillas: In the same pan, place the tortilla topped with filling. Cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts or the filling is warmed through.
 - Assemble Quesadillas: Place the previously toasted face tortilla on top of the filled tortilla carefully. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes until the bottom tortilla turns golden brown. Avoid flipping to prevent filling from spilling out.
 - Serve: Carefully transfer your assembled jack-o’-lantern quesadilla to a plate. Serve cheese quesadillas with guacamole, salsa, or sour cream. For sweet pumpkin quesadillas, a drizzle of maple syrup makes a perfect accompaniment.

Notes
- You can use any kind of tortilla—flour, whole wheat, or corn—depending on preference.
 - Customize the fillings as you like, adding cooked veggies or meats for savory options.
 - Use a small sharp knife to make precise facial cut-outs on tortillas.
 - Cook on medium heat to avoid burning the tortillas and allow fillings to melt properly.
 - For easier melting, cover the pan loosely when cooking filled tortillas.
 - Enjoy these quesadillas warm for the best texture and flavor.
