Delicious and healthy Air Fryer Chicken Patties are a quick and easy meal option. These juicy patties are seasoned to perfection and cooked in the air fryer for a crispy exterior while remaining tender inside. Perfect for burgers, salads, or as a protein-packed snack.

- 1 pound ground chicken (450g)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (30g)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, garlic and onion powders, paprika, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Form patties: Form the mixture into 4 equally sized, round patties (133g), about ½-inch thick.
- Prepare air fryer: Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive oil spray. Place the patties in the basket in a single layer (it’s ok if the edges touch slightly!). Brush the tops with the olive oil.
- Cook patties: Air fry at 400°F for 7 minutes. Flip the patties and cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature of each patty is at least 165°F.
Notes
- Use ground chicken that is 93/7 (93% meat and 7% fat) for juicier patties.
- Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce for more umami flavor.
- Form patties on parchment paper squares for easy transfer to the air fryer.
- Cook in batches if your air fryer basket is small.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure patties reach 165°F internal temperature.
